Hi my shower door has white water stains all over worse at the bottom up to lighter at the top. I regularly clean and scrub (non scratch) but since December it is looking worse and worse each time I clean it. In the last two weeks I have worked on it using scale removers, Acids, Abrasives, oils, silicon, razor blade. Nothing has made a change it even appears worse to me. Any help am I fighting a losing battle? Thanks I’ve seen it’s been asked a few times.

If you have tried a premium brand bathroom cleaner such as Easy Off Bam, Soap Scum and Shine, and it doesn’t work, then you could try steel wool. I’ve been told that razor blades do work, but I’ve never had occasion to try myself. Metal is softer than glass and won’t scratch it
It’s been etch by the soap, which is caustic. You need an acid to neutralise it.
I have the same problem and upon closer inspection the glass has actually been etched by something
