If normal pre-treating and washing in warm water has NOT removed grease/oil from clothing, then use Mineral Spirits/Mineral Turpentine.

Mineral Spirits/Mineral Turpentine is a very good solvent, I have used it to remove the thickest and most stubborn grease/oil such as automobile sump oil and very thick heavy mechanical grease from clothing, it has never ever failed to remove it 100% completely. I have also used it on many types of fabric and never encountered any issues.

But if you are concerned about using it, take the precaution of spot testing it on an inconspicuous part of the fabric.

Here is a link to a YouTube video which gives clear step by step instructions on the best technique to get rid of grease/oil.

I have tried many advised methods of removing grease/oil but Mineral Spirits/Mineral Turpentine has never failed me yet

Try Sugar Soap. Spray some on, rub in and rinse
