Get a tin foil pie tray. Fill it with water and sprinkle a few tablespoons of salt in there. Then just drop the cutlery in and watch the tarnish disappear before your eyes. There’s some youtube vids of this, but they use baking soda and hot water. Table salt will work better and cold water is fine
