I can’t use chlorine-based bathroom cleaners because I have an aerobic wastewater treatment system on my site, and the chlorine is toxic to the digesting bacteria in the system (so I am told). I find these cleaning products to be very effective. Can I use sodium thiosulphate to neutralise or de-activate the chlorine (in these cleaning products) before it is released to the wastewater treatment system? Thanks inn advance

Yes, sodium thiosulphate is an excellent reducing agent and will work nicely.
