Hello Dr Chemical. A friend recommended a hair product called Restoria Discreet. A web search reveals concerns about lead acetate in the product. Can you advise whether there should be concern about this chemical being used in the product?

I’ve asked this question of them myself. I’m satisfied that it’s not dangerous, based on the levels it contains and the bioavailability. If it was, we’d have heard about it before now. It’s the same stuff that’s in Grecian 2000, which has been around for years
