Hi, I have recently purchased a house. Unfortunately the previous people must not have cleaned the oven. I found a large (60cm) area of baked on oven fat and grease stuck to the below polished timber floor.
Any suggestions how I can lift the grease without damaging the beautiful floor?

Sugar Soap. It won’t work as well as oven cleaner, but it won’t damage the floor
Hello Dr Chemical. We have dark stains on our timber floors caused by dog urine soaking into the fabric floor protectors on the base of furniture. This has left dark rings. Any tips on lightening these areas? Thanks.
