My mother in law had a couple drops of candle wax fall on her suede shoes last month. All that remains is a few light stains on her black shoes but we don’t know how to remove it without doing damage… any advice you can give would be appreciated.

What about sticking them in the freezer and letting the wax flack off?
Suede is very, very difficult to clean as it’s hard to apply any cleaning chemical without leaving water marks behind. All I can suggest is blotting it with some acetone on a rag. Acetone is available from any hardware store
