banana plant sap on fabric

I have the sap from the banana plant on some cotton fabric. Nothing seems to remove it. I don’t find it until after washing and drying when it goes a brown colour. I have tried different preen/napisan products, turps, kero and fly spray at different times and fabrics. I haven’t ironed it yet and only used cold or warm water. The stain fades very slowly over time. As I have the banana plants in my garden, over time various items have been stained. Is there any hope for the old stains? What is the best treatment for any new stains that I will invariably get?

I got some sap from a Cycad plant on my shorts, and it left a similar brown stain like banana sap. I will try ammonia, as I heard that works.

Dr Chemical

The best approach for anything biological is enzymes. Get some Biozet Attack liquid and use it as a spot cleaner. Put some directly on the stain and rub it in with your fingers. Do that for about 10 minutes, rinse and repeat. If anything will shift the stain, that will
