One of the most common questions I get asked is how to clean whiteboards, whether it’s permanent markers or whiteboard markers that have been on there a long time.
Up until now I’ve recommended isopropanol, obtainable from Bunnings or and electronics store.
But I’ve discovered something even better – oven cleaner. Not sure of the mechanism but highly alkaline products are good general purpose cleaners, so I’m not really surprised.
Sugar Soap would probably also work, as it is an alkaline cleaner as well, but I haven’t tried it
